If you, like us, work in an office that seems to actively encourage the use of USB powered missile launchers, nerded up Nerf Guns and rubber band machine guns, this homemade coil gun may be perfect for you. While it is appropriately unable to really hurt anyone, it will certainly still let you know that you have been hit as it fires a 42g projectile at about 110kmh. It has a magazine of 14 rounds (enough to get to the coffee maker and back) and it cost about 100 Euro to put together over the course of a weekend.
