Nicely summarized, and a very balanced, accurate review. especially where you are able to state your bias, but objectively critique.
Of the classes, i've only played the warden so far. I went massive goliath, earthwarden, pretty much as standard as you could get. He was an incredible wall, and when a crit occurred, look out. lots of fun to play, gotta say. more fun, i think, than if he was a barbarian.

Yeah, I agree some of the 3.5 books were indeed amazing, especially as they started getting to the point when they knew what they were doing (PHBII, Nine Swords) :-)

But as you may have guessed from the post, I'm pretty impressed with how 4E is handling things. I think, overall, they've done less *wrong*.

Very well written! A ton of useful information. My friends and I have been debating between a new 4th edition or 3.5 edition campaign...it's good to know that there are 4th edition materials out there that can stand their own against the 3.5 edition stuff...some 3.5 edition books are phenomenal!

Nice review. I've been reading through this book as well, and had come to many of the same conclusions but there were a few things in here that made me go back and look at things again.
