Around the Dice of Doom offices (OK, we don’t have offices, but if we did… we’d obviously have more money…) we are big fans of Geeky Clean soap. No, we have never received any money from them, this is not an ad, we just like their stuff and believe in supporting our fellow nerds…

Continue reading Zom-B-Gone Day 07 – A successful trial, no zombies
So here we are at the end of the epic week of the Zom-B-Gone trial. I shall miss Steve, the little skull in my soap. I shall miss our early morning chats as he assisted me in getting clean. Geeky clean. That’s right, not only did I smell nice, became more popular, had my choice of women (I only chose my wife… shhhh…), but I was also free from all pestering of any form or nature by the living dead that shamble on this earth.

Due to the enormous success of Zom-B-Gone by Geeky Clean in protecting me from the threat of daily zombie attack I have come up with a list of other repellent soaps that I would find quite useful.

My in-laws spent the weekend in Canberra (Australia’s Capitol) this weekend and returned with variety of souvenirs. I got a skull eraser and a nose pencil sharpener. I think they are both awesome.
Not much in the way of activity yesterday in the zombie department. My wife did point out however that the dice soaps were very much like the Kinder Surprise of soap. I thought that that was quite funny…
Now for those of you not in Europe during the 80’s there were some exceedingly worrying ads for Kinder Surprise during that time. The phrase chocadoobie was very popular for all the wrong reasons…

Continue reading Zom-B-Gone Day 03 – Still no zombies
While I can safely report no zombies on day three (boring I know…) we did have an interesting discussion over lunch at work. Where are the Vampire Repellent soaps? I thought that that was a very good question. There was some earnest discussion for a while. What could be included in the soap to ward off the vampires?

I have to admit, in my life I have encountered very few zombies. It is the first question I get asked when people find out I am road testing a zombie repellent. It seems that many people are quite skeptical about the whole process, and I would have to say, I can understand why. It’s not like you see zombies every day. Or do you…?
After the initial excitement of receiving my Geeky Clean order and wanting to try all of them at once I opened only the Zom-B-Gone soap and put it next to the shower so that I would not forget to use it.
The next day, in the shower at 5:50am, I was struck by how appropriate it was that there was a little skull in my soap smiling at me – it described how I felt perfectly that early in the morning.

Continue reading Geeky Clean soaps have arrived!!!
My wife arrived home today, a box looking like those that I get models and books in from the US, under her arm. Ripping apart the label that said “Customs has opened this parcel for inspection” (I can only imagine what went through their minds…), I looked with great glee at the five bars of awesome, nerdy, geeky soap sitting nestled in packaging.

Just today our ‘office’ made an order at Geeky Clean for their Zom-B-Gone soap. Apparently this soap will help repel zombies and we think that that is awesome. We, of course, want to make sure that this claims actually hold up. Once the soap arrives I’ll be using it everyday for a week to test the soap’s ability to repel zombies.
