As I went through them, I discovered that there was a book I hadn't bought yet from the Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition set. I immediately became anxious that my collection wasn't complete. It had become important that I had a set, a complete set and I had found that it was less than it should be. Continue reading →

It has set the benchmark for horror gothic roleplaying gaming and has introduced countless players to the world and works of HP Lovecraft and the Cthulhu Mythos. Since the second edition of the rules, its core mechanic has remained largely unchanged as well, putting it in a rare group of games from the 1980's to still be using its original rule system. Now in its 30th year of publication Chaosium are celebrating by printing a special edition of the 6th edition rulebook. Continue reading →

What was his origin? From whence did he plunge to earth, and why? Well, now you can find out, direct from the pen of the illustrious author and graphic novelist Neil Gaiman. The story is entitled "I, Cthulhu", and contains a dictated account by the Great Old One himself to his servant Whateley. Continue reading →
