RupertG has been playing games since the age of 12. He took to designing games not long after in an effort to replace his confiscated game collection with something that was easier to disguise. RupertG’s interests are in role-playing games, tabletop wargames, game design and programming. He also loves his iPhone. Currently, RupertG is trying to amass the largest collection of polyhedral dice on the planet. Despite filling several boxes he still feels that he has a long way to go.
Ellisthion (aka Duncan) first realised his love for RPGs with his first game of 1st Edition AD&D at age 10. Whilst he’s branched out into other RPGs, he still has a soft spot for any and all variants of D&D. He also plays Warhammer Fantasy (poorly) and 40k (quite well), and way too many computer games, particularly Team Fortress 2 and Dota 2. He prefers games with complex rules to learn and master, and favours high fantasy settings. He is currently undertaking the grueling task of running the 1st Ed AD&D Temple of Elemental Evil, in between extolling the virtues of D&D Next, boring everyone with mathematical analyses of his Warhammer 40k Tau army, and trying to convince the rest of the gaming group to participate in a My Little Pony RPG.
Cuchulain (otherwise known as Paul) has been playing roleplaying games since he was 10 years old. Although he’ll play any game under the sun, he prefers characterisation and plot over tactics and mechanics. He is never happier than when playing in or mastering a horror campaign – preferably with heavy Cthulhu Mythos overtones or theme.
Dwayne started his roleplaying game hobby with Dungeons & Dragons Red Box. Since then he has enthusiastically collected a broad range of games. Some of his favourites include Rolemaster, Gurps, Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 and Legends of the Five Rings. He is a regular on the Dice of Doom podcast.
